Kalinda - Diving Tours

Outer Reef diving will be planned, with up to 4 dives on offer each day. Starting at the Ribbon reefs and Cod Hole, we then venture beyond the reach of most vessels, visiting rarely dived sites North of Princess Charolette Bay; offshore Lockhart River and into the GBR’s only ‘blanket green zone’ to the East of Cape York Peninsula.

Opportunities to dive some of our favourite sites, like ‘Deep V’ @ Tijou Reef, ‘Silvertip City’ @ Mantis Reef, ‘The Cathedral’ @ Wishbone Reef, ‘Big Woodies’ @ Wood Reef, ‘Captain Blood’s Wall of Terror’, ‘Cow Bommie’, ‘Da Phat’, ‘Barries Bommie’ and many more @ Great Detached Reef plus Turtles and Tigers @ Raine Island Reef, the largest Green Turtle rookery on our blue planet.

We finish off this epic trip with a final dive in the morning of the 28th on the wreck of the RMS Quetta, a fabulous penetration wreck and marine life dive, off Cape York. We steam into Thursday Island that afternoon, to enjoy the culture and history of the Torres Straights and dinner together at the pub. Overnight on board and transfer across to Horn Island ready for your flights on the 29th.
